Bought as a weaned calf from Heather Whittaker in 2018. This cow displays exceptional felinity, length and power. Sired by Distiller, sire of Panmure 1 Henry, Nugget and the infamous Normanton 1 Laertes. Since arriving at Midford she has scooped a number of prizes including Female champion at Bath and West, and reserve Senior Female Champion at The National Poll Show.

Bought at the Designer Genes Sale in 2017, following an impressive show year where she scooped the following: Junior champion at the Great Yorkshire show, Junior female champion at the Royal Highland, and also a 1st prize winner at the Poll show in 2017. She is proving herself to be a quality breeding cow here at Midford with her first daughter now entering the herd.

Traditional Lines

Females have been initially purchased from Boresisle, Holloway & Severnvale Herds. These all carry fantastic strength in their maternal characteristics, along with being easy fleshing, correct and easy calving. We have been using these genetics as a base for our polled breeding program, using our homozygous polled stockbull to breed commercially valuable breeding stock maintiaing the charecteristics of their traditional dams.
